In consideration of payment, Coral Sea Coaches agrees to provide transport on terms and conditions below:-

General Terms and Conditions
The conditions of the agreement between Coral Sea Coaches and the passenger and purchaser of the ticket are set out below:-

Terms of Booking

  1. The purchaser of the ticket is solely responsible for providing Coral Sea Coaches with the correct information about the passenger/s name, valid email address, valid and current contact mobile number, the date/s of travel, Flight details, number of passenger/s, pickup and drop of locations.
  2. The purchaser of the ticket understands and accepts that bookings are not confirmed until payment in full is received by Coral Sea Coaches’ nominated payment method at time specified and a confirmation is received from Coral Sea Coaches.
  3. The purchaser of the ticket understands and accepts that payment for bookings, other than WebSaver and Last Minute bookings, must be received by means of PayPal within eight (8) hours of making the booking or receiving a request for payment from Coral Sea Coaches, whichever occurs first.
  4. The purchaser of the ticket understands and accepts that payment for WebSaver and Last Minute bookings is required at time of booking by means of PayPal.
  5. Failure by the purchaser of the ticket or the passenger/s to provide Coral Sea Coaches will full cleared payment by means of PayPal at the time specified will permit Coral Sea Coaches complete discretion to cancel the booking without notice to the purchaser of the ticket or the passenger/s.
  6. The purchaser of the ticket and the passenger/s understands and accepts that Coral Sea Coaches has complete discretion to use any legislated approved transporting vehicle it deems suitable to transfer the passenger/s.
  7. The purchaser of the ticket and the passenger/s understands and accepts that Coral Sea Coaches has complete discretion to substitute any other vehicle for its own vehicle and/or transport passengers and/or their luggage and these terms shall continue to apply to carriage by such substituted vehicle or transport.
  8. Coral Sea Coaches will strive to adhere to the stated journey times and the scheduled pickup times, but Coral Sea Coaches does not promise to adhere to and will not be liable to any failure to meet those times considering traffic, weather conditions and any other unforeseeable delay/s.
  9. Coral Sea Coaches has complete and sole discretion to deem a booking made on the Website invalid.
  10. Payment received by means of PayPal for a booking deemed to be invalid will incur an administrative fee of AUD$2.00.
  11. Coral Sea Coaches has complete discretion to refund all or part of the fare when the booking is cancelled prior to embarkation time, but will not otherwise allow any refund.

Port Douglas WebSaver Booking Conditions
Coral Sea Coaches WebSaver Booking Prices will automatically be offered to bookings made on the Coral Sea Coaches Booking Website. WebSaver Booking eligibility requirements include but not limited to:-

  1. WebSaver Bookings must be made at least 24 hours prior to initial date of travel unless otherwise specified.
  2. WebSaver Bookings must be paid in full by Coral Sea Coaches’ nominated payment method at time of booking. Failure to pay the full amount will result in the cancellation of the booking without notification. Payment by PayPal eCheque can be refused without notification.
  3. WebSaver Bookings are non-refundable, regardless of when notification of cancellation is received.
  4. Amendments of pickup and/or drop off locations for WebSaver Return Bookings will incur a minimum administrative fee of AUD$15.00. Coral Sea Coaches will endeavour to accommodate the amendment request, but Coral Sea Coaches has sole discretion and no obligation to meet the request. Requests must be in the form of an email to booking@coralseacoaches.com. The request must be received at least 48 hours prior to the scheduled time of pick up for the booking. The request must clearly state the new requested pickup and/or drop off location. Alternatively you can make two (2) one way bookings if the drop off/pickup locations are different.
  5. Change of travel date to WebSaver Bookings can be requested and Coral Sea Coaches will endeavour to accommodate the requests, but Coral Sea Coaches has sole discretion and no obligation to meet the request. Requests must be in the form of an email to booking@coralseacoaches.com. The request must be received at least 48 hours prior to the scheduled time of pick up for the booking. The request must clearly state the new requested time and date of travel. The new requested time and date of travel must not be less than 24 hours of Coral Sea Coaches receiving the email request.

Last Minute Port Douglas Booking Conditions
Coral Sea Coaches Last Minute Booking Prices will automatically be offered to bookings made on the Coral Sea Coaches Last Minute Port Douglas Booking Website provided the booking eligibility requirements are met. Last Minute Booking eligibility requirements include but not limited to:-

  1. Last Minute Bookings are available at specific times and dates.
  2. Transfer times and prices can and will change without prior notice.
  3. Transfer times and prices can and will vary from day to day.
  4. Passengers may only choose from the available transfers times and dates only1
  5. Passengers are not permitted to amend travel date and/or transfer time upon payment being processed.
  6. Failure by the passenger to be at the nominated pick up location at the scheduled pickup time will result in the transporting vehicle departing without the passenger and no refund will be allowed under any circumstances.
  7. Coral Sea Coaches will strive to adhere to the stated journey times and the scheduled pickup times, but Coral Sea Coaches does not promise to adhere to and will not be liable to any failure to meet those times considering traffic, weather conditions and any other unforeseeable delay/s;
  8. Last Minute Bookings must be paid in full by Coral Sea Coaches’ nominated payment method at time of booking. Failure to pay the full amount will result in the cancellation of the booking without notification.
  9. Last Minute Bookings are non-refundable, regardless of when notification of cancellation is received.

Terms of Travel

  1. The passenger/s understands and accepts their personal effects, luggage or other goods are carried entirely at their own risk. Coral Sea Coaches will not be liable to the passenger/s nor the purchaser of the ticket for the death, sickness of or any other injury to any passenger/s or for any other loss or damage suffered by the passenger/s whether personal or consequential or other. Although Coral Sea Coaches may, or may not permit passenger/s to bring or place their personal effects, luggage or other goods in the luggage trailer and or shuttle bus. Coral Sea Coaches will not be liable for the loss of or damage to any personal effects, luggage and/or other goods whether or not such loss or damage is suffered, or caused by anything occurring before, after or in the course of any journey.
  2. Coral Sea Coaches will strive to adhere to the stated journey times and the scheduled pickup times, but Coral Sea Coaches does not promise to adhere to and will not be liable to any failure to meet those times considering traffic, weather conditions and/or any other unforeseeable delay/s.
  3. The passenger/s understands and accepts that they must be ready to board the transporting vehicle at the nominated pick up location at least 10 minutes prior to the scheduled pick up time. Failure by the passenger to be at the nominated pick up location at the scheduled pick up time will result in the transporting vehicle departing without the passenger and no refund will be allowed under any circumstances.
  4. Coral Sea Coaches shall not be liable for any loss or damage arising out of or consequential upon, directly or indirectly, any abandonment or, delay in departure or delay during any trip howsoever caused.
  5. These terms and conditions apply to the extent that they are not inconsistent with or in contravention of any obligation imposed upon Coral Sea Coaches by virtue of the provisions of the Trade Practices Act 1974 or any other relevant legislation.

General Rules of Travel
Coral Sea Coaches wants to ensure that all its passengers have a safe and pleasant journey. Coral Sea Coaches and its drivers aim to provide this by monitoring and enforcing the following Code of Conduct on the vehicles:-

  1. Smoking and the consumption of alcohol are strictly prohibited on all Coral Sea Coaches vehicles.
  2. The consumption of food and drink, of any sort is strictly prohibited on all Coral Sea Coaches vehicles. Passenger/s consuming or in possession food and drink can be told to disembark or permission to board refused.
  3. Passenger/s will be liable for all costs, in whatever description, to return the vehicle to its original state, when damage to the vehicle is caused by food and/or drink in the Passenger/s possession.
  4. Violence and aggression will not be tolerated. Passenger/s will be told to disembark or permission to board refused, if in the opinion of the driver he/she and/or passengers of Coral Sea Coaches are at risk by violent and/or aggressive behaviour. Coral Sea Coaches may report incidents to the police and legal action may result.
  5. Passenger/s will be liable for all costs, in whatever description, to return the vehicle to its original state, when damage to the vehicle is caused by the Passenger/s becoming sick and/or ill during their journey.
  6. Passenger/s will be told to disembark or permission to board refused, if in the opinion of the driver the passenger/s is under the influence of alcohol and/or drugs.
  7. Passenger/s will warn drivers of any suspicious activities on the vehicle.
  8. Passenger/s will respect the comfort of other passengers at all times during their journey.
  9. No luggage (including but not limited to suitcase/s of any size, backpacks, computer bags, gym bags and/or large handbags) is permitted within the vehicle, ALL luggage must be transported in the luggage trailer. Passenger/s will adhere to the drivers’ instruction as to what is an acceptable item within the vehicle.
  10. Passenger/s will be respective and courteous before, during and after their journey to the driver and any staff member of Coral Sea Coaches.
  11. Passenger/s will not purposely cause damage before, during or after the journey to the vehicle in any form. Passenger/s found causing damage to the vehicle will be liable for all costs, in whatever description, to return the vehicle to its original state.

Passengers must comply with Code of Conduct and all reasonable directions given by Coral Sea Coaches and their employees and agents.

Unaccompanied Children
Unaccompanied Children 14 years and under will not be permitted to travel with Coral Sea Coaches unless prior written approval is received from Coral Sea Coaches.

Children and infants
When children and infants travel with accompany parents/adults on Coral Sea Coaches, it is solely the parent/adult’s complete responsibility to ensure that children and infants are securely and safely seated within the vehicle. Coral Sea Coaches seat-in-coach/shuttle vehicles do not carry nor can they accommodate or fit child or baby specific seats in the vehicles.

Oversized/Excess Luggage
Coral Sea Coaches allows per passenger either one large suitcase/bag (H 77cm / W 49cm/ D 32cm) OR one medium suitcase/bag (H 67cm / W 45cm/ D 28cm) and one cabin bag (H 54cm / W 37cm/ D 20cm). Any additional and/or other items will be charged at AUD$10.00 per item each way when the transfer is between Holloways Beach and White Rock areas. Any additional and/or other items will be charged at AUD$20.00 per item each way when the transfer is pass Holloways Beach to Port Douglas. Any additional and/or other items will be charged at AUD$25.00 per item each way when the transfer is pass Palm Cove to Port Douglas.

Passenger/s with oversized and/or excess luggage must email Coral Sea Coaches at least 48 hours prior to travel to advise that extra items are to be carried and payment for oversized/excess luggage must be received at least 24 hours prior to date of travel. Failure to advise Coral Sea Coaches of additional items may result in the carriage of the said items being declined. Oversized and/or excess luggage can include but not limited to baby cots, prams, child restraints/seats, fishing rods, golf bags and/or bike bags/boxes.

Change and/or Amendments to Bookings
Coral Sea Coaches will endeavour to accommodate changes to date and time of travel requests, but Coral Sea Coaches has sole discretion and no obligation to change. The purchaser of the ticket and the passenger understands and accepts there may be occasions when Coral Sea Coaches will need to amend the scheduled pick up time due to scheduling conflicts. The purchaser of the ticket and the passenger understands and accepts any changes/amendments to the bookings must be requested by email or SMS message a minimum 24 hours prior to scheduled transfer. The purchaser of the ticket and the passenger understands and accepts Coral Sea Coaches will limit the requests for changes/amendments of the date and time of travel (return booking 2 and one way booking 1), any additional changes/amendments to date and time can incur an amendment fee of AUD$15.00 per change/amendment or the forfeit of the transfer.

The purchaser of the ticket and the passenger understands and accepts a request to Coral Sea Coaches to change/amendment the drop/off and/or pickup locations of a WebSaver return booking is at Coral Sea Coaches sole discretion and Coral Sea Coaches has no obligation to change/amend the booking. The purchaser of the ticket and the passenger understands and accepts such changes/amendments to the drop off/pickup location must be requested by email minimum 48 hours prior to scheduled transfer time. The purchaser of the ticket and the passenger understands and accepts Coral Sea Coaches will impose a minimum administration fee of AUD$15.00 to change/amendment the drop off/pickup location of a WebSaver return booking. The purchaser of the ticket and the passenger understands and accepts Coral Sea Coaches will require payment prior to confirming the change.

The purchaser of the ticket and the passenger understands and accepts a request to Coral Sea Coaches to change/amendment the booking from a return transfer to a one way transfer is at Coral Sea Coaches sole discretion and Coral Sea Coaches has no obligation to change/amend the booking. The purchaser of the ticket and the passenger understands and accepts such changes/amendments to the booking must be requested by email or SMS message a minimum 24 hours prior to scheduled transfer time. The purchaser of the ticket and the passenger understands and accepts Coral Sea Coaches may impose an administrative fee of AUD$15.00 for the change/amendment of the booking from return to a one way transfer. The purchaser of the ticket and the passenger understands and accepts Coral Sea Coaches will impose the relevant one way transfer rate to the booking.

The purchaser of the ticket and the passenger understands and accepts a request to Coral Sea Coaches to change/amendment the booking to travel to Port Douglas from a booking to travel from Cairns CBD, Cairns Suburbs and/or Northern Beaches is at Coral Sea Coaches sole discretion and Coral Sea Coaches has no obligation to change/amend the booking. The purchaser of the ticket and the passenger understands and accepts such changes/amendments to the booking must be requested by email or SMS message a minimum 24 hours prior to scheduled transfer time. The purchaser of the ticket and the passenger understands and accepts such changes/amendments to the booking made less than 24 hours prior to scheduled transfer time and/or verbally (either via phone or at Cairns Airport) can be refused and confirmed transfer forfeited. The purchaser of the ticket and the passenger understands and accepts Coral Sea Coaches may impose an administration fee of AUD$20.00 for the change/amendment of the booking to travel to Port Douglas. The purchaser of the ticket and the passenger understands and accepts Coral Sea Coaches will impose the relevant transfer rate for travel to Port Douglas. The relevant transfer rate will be with consideration of the number of passengers and the one way private transfer rate of available vehicle to Port Douglas.

Coral Sea Coaches requires change of travel date and time requests to be made in the form of an email to booking@coralseacoaches.com. The request must be received at least 24 hours prior to the scheduled time of pick up for the booking. The request must clearly state the new requested time and date of travel. The new requested time and date of travel must not be less than 12 hours of Coral Sea Coaches receiving the email request.

Cancellations
Coral Sea Coaches understands that your situation may change and will endeavour to accommodate changes, but Coral Sea Coaches has sole discretion and no obligation to change. Notice of cancellation must be received either by email booking@coralseacoaches.com.

Cancellation policy

  1. WebSaver Bookings are non-refundable, regardless of when notification of cancellation is received; and/or
  2. Notification of cancellation received for return bookings when the initial schedule transfer has been completed or the passenger/s fail to board at the scheduled initial transfer time, a cancellation fee of the total transfer cost will apply.
